1. Scope

This policy applies to fanciepet.com and to enquiries sent to us about our products, stockists, repairs or trade projects. The website is currently an information and enquiry site; it does not provide customer accounts, checkout or online payment.

The controller is 杭州梵栖宠物用品有限公司, trading as FANCIE. The company is established in the People’s Republic of China.

2. Personal data we process

Please do not send sensitive personal data or information about another person unless it is necessary and you are authorised to do so.

• Enquiry data: your email address, name and any information you include in a message to us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested URL, referrer, timestamps and security logs generated when the site is delivered.
• Analytics data: page views, approximate location, referrer and browser or device information collected in aggregate by Vercel Web Analytics and, when configured, by Google Analytics.
• Newsletter field: the current newsletter form is a front-end demonstration. It does not send or store the address on our servers, and the value is discarded when the page is reloaded.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• To answer enquiries and take steps requested before a possible contract.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website based on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service.
• To understand aggregate website use. Cookieless aggregate analytics are based on our legitimate interests; analytics cookies are used on the basis of consent where applicable law requires it.
• To comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

4. Service providers and recipients

We may share only the data needed with hosting and network providers such as Cloudflare, privacy-focused traffic measurement supplied by Vercel, Google Analytics when enabled, email providers, and professional advisers where necessary. These providers process data under their own terms and, where applicable, on our instructions.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Cookies and analytics

Vercel Web Analytics is designed to provide aggregated statistics without third-party cookies or persistent cross-site identifiers. Google Analytics may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information. Google Consent Mode v2 keeps analytics storage denied by default and enables Google Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, only after you accept analytics.

Your choice is saved in your browser and can be changed at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. If you reject or withdraw analytics consent, Google Analytics cookies set by this site are removed; limited cookieless measurement may still be sent under Consent Mode.

6. International transfers

The controller is established in China. If you contact us, your message and related personal data will be received and processed in China. Our technology providers may also process data in other countries.

Where required, we use contractual, organisational or other legally recognised safeguards for international transfers. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for a contract, a legal obligation or a dispute. Technical and analytics data is retained only for as long as needed for security and aggregate reporting, subject to provider settings. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.

9. Children, security and changes

The website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the website and the data involved.
